Your Pastor is Gramps
Finally! Jayna and I are grandparents!
The arrival of Devon Carter Svihula is an event I’ve waited for years to occur.

Now that he’s here, it’s almost hard to believe.
While I’m pinching myself every day over my new role as “Gramps”, I’m reminded that Tree of Life Fellowship has actually participated in several “firsts” in our lives. You’ve been there for us when we were in transition, moving from Petaluma to Cotati; you’ve supported us when we lost Jayna’s mother, Dolores Rose; and throughout my father’s illness and eventual recent passing. You’ve encouraged us when I “officiated” at my first funeral service when Dolores Snow passed away as well as my first wedding, which happened to be that of our son-in-law and oldest daughter, Josh and Calendi Svihula; you even agreed to ordain me in Service to God.
These are milestones in the life of a Pastor as well as for me, personally. You’ve been such a blessing and support to Jayna and I. We look forward to many more years of growth with you and to many more “firsts”. In the meantime, Jayna and I welcome any and all advice on being the best grandparents ever!
Blessings,
Pastor Jim
